Tom and Mona Mengler have been married for 38 years. They are blessed to have four adult children and two grandchildren.
Before joining Boerne's Cibolo Center for Conservation in July as its second CEO, Tom worked in higher education administration for 31 years including 22 years in Catholic higher education, most recently as President of St. Mary's University between 2012 and 2024.
For all her time in San Antonio, Mona has served as a volunteer for St. Mary's University and Catholic Charities. With Catholic Charities, Mona was a member of the St. Nicholas Ball planning committee for several years. Since 2022, Mona has been a realtor with Phyllis Browning Company.
